Gravwell?

Anyone play Gravwell yet? How much strategy is there versus luck?

It's certainly more tactical than strategic, but toward the endgame, working with a strategy in mind will improve your odds greatly.

The game is driven by player choices, but there is a degree of randomness involved, much like when playing poker. You'll know some of what your opponent can do, but not everything. The deck has half the cards found in standard deck of cards, so some card counting is possible.

I like people to have a clear understanding of the weight of the game. It plays in about 20 minutes, so approach it with realistic expectations. It's an appetizer or a desert - not the main course for the evening.

Thank you for this great post! It’s always helpful to read content that is both informative and easy to understand. I’ve also come across juan 365, which adds more perspective to topics like this. Keep up the awesome work!
